Mohammad Mobarak struck twice as Narsingdi outplayed Jhenidah 3-1 in the final phase of the Western Union National Youth Football Championship at Satkhira Stadium yesterday.
Mobarak scored twice, in the 20th and 67th minutes, while Arif netted the other for the winners in the 25th minute. Mashiur Rahman scored the consolation goal for the losers in the 54th minute.
In another match at the same venue, Khulna played out a 1-1 draw with Rajshahi. After a barren first half, Rabiul scored for Khulna in the 46th minute while Raju restored parity for Rajshahi in the 69th minute.

Football is definitely having a comeback. what we really need right now is more publicity. People need to hear and see more of the game. I would like to know more about the fixture of the Western Union games of possibly watching the matches.
Yes, football IS making a comeback, and I hope that it can be classed along, not above or below, but along with cricket as the number 1 sports in Bangladesh. The start of the B. League and Oldham's tour (first pro team to tour BD) should serve as evidence that football is on the up.
One of my aims for this site is to show Bangladesh football in a bright light and as you said, give it more publicity.
As for the Western Union tournament, you can find all related news here, and all results and future fixtures here.
