The BFF Donates Tk 9 Lakh for Sidr Victims

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President SA Sultan has handed over a cheque to National Sports Council chairman and Army Chief General Moeen U Ahmed.

The BFF donated a total of Tk 901,636 to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund for the victims of Cyclone Sidr.

Malu, Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan of Mohammedan Sporting Club and Kazi Nabil Ahmed of Abahani were also present while the cheque was handed over to the NSC chairman.

The amount has been raised from the three matches between the country's two soccer giants Mohammedan and Abahani in the first week of this month at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Mohammedan won the three-match charity series 2-1.
