SAFF 2008 Draw

Today in Paradise Island Resort of Maldives, the SAFF 2008 draw took place in the presence of the eight SAFF countries representatives. Acting General Secretary Mr Manzoor Hossain, representated Bangladesh in the Draw ceremony along with Mr Sirajul Islam Bachchu (SAFF General Secretary & BFF Vice President). The grouping are as follows:

Group A: India, Maldives, Pakistan, Nepal
Group B: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afgsnistan, Bhutan.

Prize Money:
Champion - $50,000
Runner Up - $25,000
Semifinalists - $10,000

The match schedule is not yet finalised. Sri Lanka & Maldives are the joint host for hosting the 5th SAFF Championship 2008.
