Bangladesh National Home Football Jersey - To Buy

The UK based office of the company I got my Bangladesh national shirt from, have confirmed to me that they will start selling the Bangladesh National Home Jersey early in 2008. The home shirt will be exactly of the same design below complete with the BFF logo:

Latest Bangladesh Football Jerseys

On a visit to Bangladesh last month and expecting to find only cricket shirts, I was happily shocked and surprised to find the latest Bangladesh football jerseys on sale, both home and away complete with BFF logo. We sadly still do not have any renowed sports company manufacturing our kit. Below is a team pic of the Bangladesh national team before their home Pre-World Cup Qualifer against Tajiskistan on 8th October 2007. Below that is the actual shirts that I purchased.

Bangladesh Secure Adidas Shirt Deal?

Judging by the latest pictures from the Syria game, at the Nehru Cup, it seems that Bangladesh's kit has been manufactured by German giants, adidas.

No official word by the BFF has been made, so who knows what this means. Although I hope it isn't the case, but the kits could turn out to be a bunch of fakes, created by a Bangladeshi factory owner.

Previously, the Bangladesh national football jersey's have copied popular shirt styles from famous manufacturer's, such as adidas and Umbro, but no logo had been present on the actual body of the shirts. But now, the adidas logo can clearly be seen.

If everthing is above board, all I have to say is, it's about time! Even the Indian national team has Nike sponsorship.

Bangladesh National Football Jersey Campaign

Ever since I have started this website, a lot of people have asked me if I know where to buy the Bangladesh national football jersey from. The sad answer is, no, I don't. And I don't think a lot of other people know either.

I have contacted the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) numerous times, in the past, requesting information on where to buy them from, but I have not had a single reply back (hardly surprising, really).

I think the BFF are missing out on a huge market by not selling these shirts. They sure could do with the money, especially when they are struggling for a sponsor for the B. League. Therefore, I have decided that we should try to make them aware of the demand for the jerseys.

So, if you want to buy a national jersey, please reply back to this post with the words "I want to buy a Bangladesh national football jersey!". You can add a few words of your own if you wish. I will get the ball rolling by being the first to "sign". Please use your email address when you "sign", and not anonymous, so that the demand can be seen as real. Hopefully, when we get enough posts, I will present this to the BFF.

This may only create a small splash in a big ocean, but hey, at least we're trying.
